Diabetes Fund
Rondom and the Diabetes Fund work together based on a shared mission: namely, to improve the health of people with diabetes and to prevent (foot) complications. These complications can be serious. Foot problems are common among people with diabetes. This partnership therefore focuses on foot care and prevention. Podiatry plays an important role in this.

Collaboration in practice
This collaboration is evident in various activities. The development of the Tudo Volta range of shoes is a good example of this. This range was created on our initiative and further developed in collaboration with the Diabetes Fund. The shoes are suitable for people with diabetes and help to prevent foot problems.
We also support awareness campaigns and highlight the importance of good foot care.
In addition, we are affiliated with the Diabetes Fund as a ‘Gezonde Partner’. We contribute to fundraising and are committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and vitality.
Results for healthcare
This partnership brings together healthcare, prevention and social engagement. In this way, we help to reduce complications from diabetes and prevent symptoms.
We support people in staying mobile and living as healthily as possible. At the same time, we ensure that our care and advice are better tailored to the everyday lives of people with diabetes.
