Working together
At Rondom, we believe that the best research and the most valuable innovations arise through collaboration. That is why we are keen to work with researchers, research and educational institutions, students, healthcare professionals and companies.
By combining scientific knowledge, practical experience, data, technology and innovation, we develop and evaluate solutions that contribute to better healthcare and a healthier society. In doing so, we focus both on improving diagnostics, treatments and care processes, and on collaboration, prevention and the maintenance and promotion of health.
Our research projects fall within three research areas:
- Clinical domain-specific and cross-domain research;
- Interprofessional collaboration;
- From reactive care to proactive health.
Do you have a research question, project idea or expertise that ties in with one of these areas? Or are you looking for partners for a grant application? If so, we’d be happy to explore the possibilities with you. Please contact Join us.
For researchers
Rondom collaborates with universities, universities of applied sciences, research institutes and researchers on scientific and practice-oriented research. Collaboration may, for example, involve setting up and conducting research, recruiting participants, evaluating interventions or innovations, and sharing and applying the results.
Students, too, can contribute to current practical issues within a research or teaching project.
When data is required for a project, we assess on a case-by-case basis which data is available and suitable, and under what conditions it may be used. Quality, privacy and the careful use of data are central to this process.
For healthcare professionals
Questions arising from everyday healthcare practice form an important basis for our research. Healthcare professionals can contribute by raising practical questions, helping to devise research designs, and developing, implementing and evaluating new working methods or interventions in practice.
The research question may relate to diagnosis, treatment and support, but also to prevention, functioning, positive health and collaboration between different disciplines. By combining practical knowledge with research, we develop insights that meet the needs of both people and professionals.
For businesses
Rondom collaborates with companies that wish to develop or evaluate solutions in the fields of care, health and prevention. These may include, for example, digital applications, measurement tools, data science and artificial intelligence, interventions, services or new ways of organising care and support.
We do not merely investigate whether a solution works, but also for whom it is of value, under what circumstances, and how it can be applied responsibly and sustainably.
In addition, through Rondom in Bedrijf, we work directly with employers by providing workplace healthcare services to staff. Together, we are committed to promoting healthier staff, preventing and reducing absenteeism, and increasing productivity and job satisfaction.
