Taking part in (scientific) research
Working together for better care
Good care is partly made possible by (scientific) research. Research gives us a better understanding of health, symptoms and conditions. For example, we investigate how symptoms arise, which treatments are effective and how care can be better tailored to people’s needs.
At Rondom, researchers carry out (medical-scientific) research that addresses questions arising from everyday healthcare practice. By taking part in research as a client, you help to generate new insights and contribute to improving care for current and future clients.
Why take part in research?
By taking part in research, you are contributing to new knowledge about health, diseases, treatments and care. Taking part can sometimes bring personal benefits, for example by enabling you to receive a new treatment or approach. It is not always certain in advance whether this will actually help.
Sometimes, taking part may not bring you any immediate benefit, but your contribution can provide valuable insights for others.
