- Parking
- You can park in the (underground) car park; follow the yellow route (gate 2). Parking is free for the first two hours. In the car park, take the stairs or lift to the top; the health centre is opposite the Jumbo.
- Waiting room
- The Stroomz Health Centre is situated opposite the Jumbo supermarket. To reach our waiting area, take the lift or the stairs from the main entrance of the health centre to the first floor. Here you will find waiting room 1, where you can take a seat. The podiatrist will come to collect you when it is your turn.
- Public transport
- The nearest bus stop, Meerrijk, is a 5-minute walk from the surgery.

Meet podiatrist, regional manager Nicole
What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?
As a regional manager and podiatrist, I get a real buzz from supporting people in doing what makes them happy. It gives me a sense of fulfilment to achieve goals together and to help others get the best out of themselves.
In my work as a podiatrist, I do this by helping people to alleviate their symptoms or, conversely, by offering advice on how to prevent them. The best moment is when someone can move freely again and carry out their daily activities with confidence.
As a regional manager, I focus on supporting my colleagues. I help them to focus as much as possible on what they love doing most: helping people. By taking care of administrative matters and helping to devise solutions, I create the space for them to practise their profession with enjoyment and dedication.
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
I realise that my job really suits me because it offers exactly the combination I was looking for: care, creativity and technology. That’s why I decided to study podiatry in the first place.
For me, healthcare is about helping people in practice and supporting colleagues; ensuring everyone is able to get about comfortably. I find creativity and technical skill in the development and manufacture of therapeutic aids, such as podiatric insoles, orthoses and nail braces. No two requests for help are the same, and there are always new challenges to tackle.
What makes podiatry particularly special to me is that you never stop learning. The profession is incredibly broad and offers endless opportunities for continuous personal development. That combination of helping people, devising creative solutions and constantly learning ensures that I enjoy going to work every day.
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
As well as my work at Rondom, I am a board member of the Paramedical Platform Brainport. This is a cooperative in which various paramedical professional groups from the Brainport region work together with the shared aim: “Strong together for a healthy region”.
