What is lifestyle coaching?
Lifestyle coaching is support for people who want to live healthier lives and make lasting changes to their lifestyle. Together with a lifestyle coach, you will examine which habits, choices and patterns affect your health and how you can take steps to improve these that fit in with your daily life.
Lifestyle encompasses everything that affects your health and wellbeing. Think, for example, of diet, exercise, sleep, relaxation, stress, recovery and the way you organise your day. Sometimes it can be difficult to find a good balance in your day or to stick to changes. A lifestyle coach helps you gain an understanding of what works well for you and what makes change difficult.
Lifestyle coaching is not a diet or a short-term programme, but support aimed at lasting behavioural change. Together, you set goals and work towards habits that you can maintain in the long term.

What does a lifestyle coach do?
A lifestyle coach guides and motivates you in developing healthier habits. This is not just about knowing what is healthy, but above all about putting this into practice in your daily life.
Together, you’ll identify what affects your health and what goals you want to achieve. You’ll then look, step by step, at which changes are feasible and appropriate.
A lifestyle coach can, for example, provide support with:
- improving eating and exercise habits;
- to feel more energetic and find a better balance in daily life;
- coping with stress and moments of recovery;
- improving sleep and relaxation;
- maintaining healthy habits;
- increasing motivation and self-confidence;
- breaking habits that no longer help;
- developing a lifestyle that suits your situation.
Our lifestyle coaches focus on achieving lasting behavioural change. You remain in control and decide together which steps are appropriate.

Working with the dietitian
Nutrition is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. That is why dietitians are also part of Rondom. A dietitian specialises in nutrition and health and provides support with nutritional issues related to a clinical condition, medical situation or personal need for assistance.
When nutrition plays an important role in your care, a lifestyle coach may draw on the expertise of a dietitian. The lifestyle coach and dietitian will coordinate their support so that you receive assistance tailored to your personal situation and goals.
