Working together to find practical solutions
Do you feel that life at home revolves largely around health issues, care or things you can no longer manage? If so, it may help to work together to find practical solutions. Not by placing blame, but by asking: how can we make everyday life more manageable for everyone? Practical solutions do not have to be big. Sometimes a different division of tasks, an aid, a fixed schedule or more rest during the week can help. It is important that everyone can say what is needed and what feels achievable.

What do you notice?
In the absence of practical solutions, daily life can become difficult.
You may, for example, notice that:
- the same problems keep cropping up;
- tasks remain undone;
- there is some friction over who does what;
- you understand each other less well;
- help is requested too late;
- you always have to improvise;
- moments of rest are disappearing;
- healthcare takes up a lot of space;
- Everyone is getting tired of the situation.
Sometimes there is good will, but no clear plan. In that case, the pressure remains high.
