Podiatry
Are you an enthusiastic podiatrist, about to graduate or already experienced? Are you ambitious, motivated and ready for an exciting new challenge in the Netherlands? Then we’d love to meet you!
At Rondom, we are always looking for enthusiastic and driven podiatrists to join our growing team. Whether you are just starting your career or already have several years’ experience, you will have plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, gain valuable clinical experience and make a real difference to people’s lives.
Come and help us make life more comfortable, active and enjoyable for our patients, and discover what it is like to work and live in the Netherlands.
Rondom is a healthcare organisation with a large and diverse team of professionals. Our colleagues include physiotherapists, psychologists, lifestyle coaches, podiatrists, occupational therapists and many other healthcare and non-healthcare professionals. We all share the same goal: helping people move better and live better, both physically and mentally.
For us, walking well is about much more than just the feet. It is about being able to move freely, work, exercise, participate in society and enjoy everyday life. As a podiatrist at Rondom, you will be part of an ambitious, supportive and international team where collaboration, personal development and professional growth are highly valued.
As a podiatrist at Rondom, you will conduct your own consultations and work independently with patients. You will examine, diagnose and treat patients with conditions affecting the feet, ankles, knees, hips, pelvis, back, neck and shoulders.
Your responsibilities may include:
You will receive the support and training you need to familiarise yourself with our way of working and the Dutch healthcare system.
Are you a podiatrist interested in moving to the Netherlands? We’re here to help you make the transition as smooth and comfortable as possible. Working and moving abroad is, of course, very exciting, but it can feel a little daunting too. That’s why we ensure you receive the right support from the moment you decide to join Rondom. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
When you join our international team, you will be assigned a buddy who can help you during your initial period at Rondom and whilst you are in the Netherlands. Your buddy will be there to assist you with practical matters, such as finding your way around, getting to know the company and meeting your new colleagues.
We can also assist you with important matters such as:
For international podiatrists joining our team, we can help arrange accommodation in the Netherlands. Our international colleagues often share flats, which is a great way to meet other colleagues, make friends and build a social network when you are new to the country.
The accommodation arrangement is linked to your employment and working commitment at Rondom. In return for the accommodation support, you will work the agreed number of hours for Rondom. We will discuss the exact working hours and arrangements with you before you start, so you know exactly what to expect.
You don’t need to speak Dutch when you start. A good command of English is sufficient, and Dutch people generally speak English well, so you’ll be able to communicate from day one.
At the same time, you’ll have the opportunity to learn Dutch through the language courses we offer. This will help you feel more at ease in everyday life and gradually become more confident speaking Dutch both at work and outside of work. Our aim is to make you feel at home, both at Rondom and in the Netherlands.
We are looking for podiatrists who are enthusiastic about their profession and keen to develop their skills.
You:
International experience is not required. We are happy to help you settle into your new role and life in the Netherlands.
At Rondom, you won’t just be another employee. You will become part of a team of healthcare professionals who work together to provide the best possible care. Our podiatrists come from different backgrounds and countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and South Africa.
We have an informal and open working environment where colleagues support one another and where there is scope for your own ideas. And of course, work is only part of life. We believe that having fun together is important too. That’s why we regularly organise dinners, drinks, team activities, parties and trips.
You will work hard, develop yourself and make a difference, but you will also have the opportunity to build a life in the Netherlands.
Are you ready for a new adventure and a career as a podiatrist in the Netherlands? We’d love to hear from you! Send us your CV and covering letter to hr@rondomlopengroep.nl or contact Yente Gathier (HR): +31 6 42497553
Do you have any specific questions about the role or working at Rondom? Please feel free to contact Arno Hermie, Regional Director and Podiatrist at Rondom: arno.hermie@rondomlopengroep.nl or +31 6 48627342.
Life really does run more smoothly when we do it together.
Come and walk with us.
