What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

Footwear adviser and sales assistant at the Heerlen branch.

To advise people who have difficulty buying shoes because they have problematic feet and who are not yet eligible for, or do not wish to wear, orthopaedic shoes, in order to find a solution. We are here for our customers and guide them in finding a pair of well-fitting shoes.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get on better in life?

Seeing people walk out happily in (new) shoes without any pain. Life really is better with good shoes on your feet.

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

To liaise with customers, advise them on their needs and ensure they are satisfied.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Discovering the world with my husband by going on wonderful trips.
