What is your role, and what gives you energy in your work?

I work in the secretariat. Together with a lovely team, we assist our patients day in, day out. We try to help them as best we can with their healthcare needs. We also have many other administrative tasks. It gives me a real boost when the day has gone well and smoothly, when I’ve been able to help the patients I’ve spoken to, and when all the other work is done too.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Don’t wait for a good day – make it yourself!

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

It’s just really nice to be able to help people. Even if it’s just to reschedule an appointment. Every phone call is different. My motto is: I treat patients the way I would like to be treated myself.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I’ve been singing in a pop choir for just under a year now. We sing songs by Adele, Coldplay, Queen, Lady Gaga and Guns N’ Roses, amongst others. It’s so lovely to sing together! We also perform regularly, and that gives us a massive buzz!

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Rondom is a really lovely company to work for. I feel completely at home there.
