What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people navigate life more easily?

People sometimes ring up and might ask what they think is a silly question; I always try to make it clear that a question isn’t silly – it’s only silly not to ask it!

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

I enjoy helping people as best I can on the phone.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

My daughter and I share a horse, and I often help her with it.

She practises a branch of equestrian sport that is not very common in the Netherlands, namely western riding.
