Establishment of the Loopzorg Alliance
With a large group of passionate podiatrists, representing around 20 per cent of all podiatrists in the Netherlands, we came together on 5 April to establish the Loopzorg Alliance. A network dedicated to sharing knowledge, helping one another at all levels and strengthening one another. It doesn’t matter whether you run a large organisation or a smaller practice. It is precisely this mutual trust that enables us to make progress.
On 5 April, a large group of passionate podiatrists – representing around 20 per cent of all podiatrists in the Netherlands – came together to establish the Loopzorg Alliance. A network dedicated to sharing knowledge, helping one another at all levels and strengthening one another. It doesn’t matter whether you run a large organisation or a smaller practice. It is precisely this mutual trust that enables us to move forward.
A good start is half the battle
The challenges facing the healthcare sector are considerable. Demand for care will continue to rise, including the demand for podiatric care, which is essential to help people walk properly. Together, we strive to keep podiatric care accessible and affordable, without compromising on quality. When people are able to walk, this brings many benefits for both the individual and society. If people can walk, they can get out and about; they are less likely to feel lonely because they can participate in society; and they are better able to look after themselves. We are therefore very keen to see what this wonderful collaboration will bring us all, what path we will tread together, and who will join us on that journey. But we’ve made a start, and a good start is half the battle!
