What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

I work as a podiatrist. I enjoy the fact that every day and every patient is different, and it gives me a real boost when I help another patient walk more comfortably through life.

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people navigate life more easily?

“Life is like walking — you take one step at a time.”

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

I love working with people.

I also enjoy keeping my hands busy.

And in this way, to help people.

That gives me a sense of satisfaction.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

I love cooking. My speciality is Italian pasta with meatballs.

I also enjoy tending to my plants, both indoors and outdoors, growing various vegetables and fruit.
