Identity development
You may find yourself thinking a lot about who you are, what suits you and what choices you want to make. Everyone develops. Yet this process can sometimes cause a great deal of doubt, stress or uncertainty.
You may feel that you are mainly doing what others expect of you, whilst you are not quite sure what you want yourself. If this is the case, it may help to take some time to reflect on your identity and the choices you make.

What is it?
Identity development is about getting to know yourself. It concerns, for example, your values, interests, beliefs, boundaries and how you view yourself.
It also concerns how you interact with others, for example in relationships, friendships, family or at work.
Your identity is not set in stone. Your self-image may continue to change as a result of experiences, choices and different stages of life.
