More about me
What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?
I work in the secretariat at Rondom and find it really energising to help patients with their enquiries and provide them with the right answers. I also spend one day a week working in PR and communications, where I get to see what goes on behind the scenes. In this team, it feels as though we’re really making progress in continuously improving the organisation, which gives me a great sense of fulfilment. I also enjoy interacting with colleagues and seeing what’s going on within the organisation.
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?
Just like you, we want to help you get rid of your symptoms; that is what we strive to do every day
How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
I am caring and believe it is important that others – and I myself – are doing well. I find it rewarding to solve problems and make improvements. This is also clearly reflected in my work in PR and communications, where I enjoy contributing ideas on how processes or messages can be improved even further.
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
I don’t think there’s anything that nobody would expect, but I’ve recently started a relationship and my boyfriend is from Alkmaar. As a result, I now regularly find myself in the north of the Netherlands, rather than just in Brabant.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I’m pleased that Rondom also looks after its staff well, just as we dedicate ourselves to our patients every day.
