What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?
As a podiatrist, I try in various ways to help people move more comfortably and effectively. I find interacting with people very important and also see a challenge in every request for help. It’s always a bit like a puzzle waiting to be solved. When that goes well, it gives me a real boost.
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?
Walking on sunshine. Instead of focusing on what isn’t possible, try focusing on what is. You’ll find that you can do more than you think.
How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
As a podiatrist, I think I have a fantastic job. The variety still really appeals to me. The range of ages, injuries, treatment techniques and developments that are still part of this profession means that every day is different.
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
I myself really enjoy walking and love going on long-distance trips.

Remains curious about everything around you.
