Meet occupational therapist Max
What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?
I am an occupational therapist. I get a real buzz from offering practical tips and guidance that genuinely help people take the next step.
I also draw energy from the opportunities that Rondom offers. Rondom Ergotherapeuten is currently in a start-up/growth phase, and I am able to contribute my ideas and help shape how we will develop it!
Although we do not work in the same locations, we are working together towards that wonderful goal: helping people live life to the full!
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get on better in life?
Take a look at what is possible.
How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
I can decide for myself how to organise my day. I have a say in the patient group I see by promoting myself to the referrers and network partners who appeal to me most.
I find the pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit here incredibly fitting, as you never feel like you’re on your own. A PR and facilities team, colleagues and so on provide support wherever needed!
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
I’m a real water baby; I play water polo, I dive and I really enjoy kitesurfing. I also play the piano.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I’ve noticed within Rondom that everyone is pulling in the same direction and that this is also clearly communicated throughout the organisation. Despite the many locations and the growing number of colleagues, you can tell that the organisation is doing everything it can to ensure a sense of connection! This is one of Rondom’s greatest strengths! Something I really appreciate!
