Nerve pain (Neuropathic pain)
Neuropathic pain can occur in the forefoot. You may experience a numb and/or tingling sensation in your toes. A possible cause could be a nerve being pinched between the metatarsal bones.
A treatment
The treatment consists of a corrective podiatric insole, which ensures that the metatarsal bones are spread apart, thereby giving the pinched nerve more space.
The expected result is fair to good.
