What is your role, and what gives you energy in your work?

I’m a podiatrist. My work gives me energy when I see a patient after a treatment and I’ve helped them with their symptoms. Or when a patient comes to the consultation feeling absolutely delighted and says that the pain, which had been there for years, has now gone and that they’re extremely satisfied with the treatment

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

Looking back only holds you back from moving forward.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

After work, I go for a few hours’ training. I also enjoy baking cakes and, particularly recently, I’ve really got into reading

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I believe that open and transparent communication between the organisation, staff and patients is vital for moving forward into the future. And I think this is the only way to build a future in which we can help even more people!
