More about me
What is your role, and what gives you energy in your work?
Hello, I’m Monique and I’m an experienced all-round podiatrist. I’m a real workaholic and love to go the extra mile to help our patients as best I can.
I therefore enjoy challenging clinical cases and like to discuss them with my colleagues. As well as caring for our patients, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and regularly provide training both internally and externally. Working in a pleasant atmosphere, in a team where people feel at ease, enables me to give my very best. Driven by my passion, I really enjoy bringing people together, motivating and inspiring our team so that, together, we can provide the very best possible care for foot and leg conditions every day.
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people navigate life more easily?
Every day, I try my very best to respond to the individual in question and provide the appropriate care that they need. I do this with passion and energy to help everyone, young or old, live their lives to the fullest.
How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
I’ve been doing this work for 27 years now, and I enjoy it every day. I am now an all-round podiatrist, a foot and ankle sonographer, and a rheumatology and sports therapist.
I manage my consultations with ease. The work suits me down to the ground.
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
I love being outdoors. Perhaps that’s the thing I like least about my job… the fact that I do my work indoors… I love nature, the mountains, birdwatching and identifying birds, and nature photography. My biggest hobby is going on holiday. I do a lot of sport and enjoy it. Boot camp, strength training, cycling on my gravel bike…
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
People often find me via the website when they have a more complex case or are suffering from rheumatism.
