Radboudumc
We work in partnership with Radboudumc as a healthcare and research partner. The podiatrists at Rondom Podotherapeuten work in the hospital’s wound clinic. There, we provide primary foot care. Specialists can refer clients directly to the wound clinic. This ensures that care remains within the hospital and allows us to apply our expertise from the primary care setting. We also collaborate on scientific research. A recently awarded grant for joint research into the impact of professional collaboration on appropriate care is a good example of this.

Continuous care
In this collaboration, primary care and the hospital work together seamlessly. We are involved in treatment at the hospital and in the follow-up care afterwards.
This ensures that treatment continues uninterrupted, and that care providers are fully aware of the situation. This makes care clearer and better tailored to the client.
Working together to provide appropriate care
We also collaborate on research. We share what we see and learn in practice. Radboudumc contributes specialist knowledge. In this way, healthcare continues to develop and remains closely tailored to the patient’s needs.
