When should you see a medical pedicurist?
Rondom Pedicures provides medically necessary and complex foot care to people with vulnerable feet or an increased risk of foot ulcers. For example, due to diabetes, rheumatism or reduced blood circulation or sensation in the feet. Our medical pedicurists treat skin and nail problems requiring specialist expertise and, where necessary, work in collaboration with a podiatrist.

When can podiatry care help?
Rondom Pedicures provides medically necessary and complex foot care for people who require specialist expertise. For example, in cases of diabetes, rheumatism, reduced sensation or reduced blood circulation in the feet, vulnerable feet or an increased risk of foot ulcers.
A visit to a medical chiropodist at Rondom may be appropriate if you:
- have diabetes, rheumatism or any other condition that makes your feet vulnerable;
- is at increased risk of minor cuts or poorly healing wounds;
- have a reduced sensation or reduced blood flow in your feet;
- has skin or nail problems that require specialist medical expertise;
- has a care profile requiring medical foot care;
- due to your health condition, it is not safe for you to visit a regular chiropodist.
Do you have no medical condition or increased risk of foot wounds? If so, a medical pedicure is usually not necessary. For routine foot care, such as cutting nails, removing calluses or general maintenance, you can visit a regular pedicurist.
Skin and nail complaints

A treatment with our medical pedicurist may be suitable for:
- painful or recurring skin and nail problems;
- ingrown, thickened or abnormal nails requiring extra care;
- calluses, corns or pressure sores, combined with sensitive feet or an increased risk of minor injuries.
