What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?

I’m a sports podiatrist and I get a real buzz from assessing, helping and treating sports-related complaints, especially football injuries! For me, combining football and healthcare is ideal!

What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get through life more easily?

On your own you’re faster, but together you go further! This applies both to a football team and to working within an organisation!

How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?

I don’t mind answering the questions I receive about sports injuries at all; in fact, I actually enjoy making time for them and looking into them further.

What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?

Everyone who knows me knows that I devote a great deal of time to football. A spot of padel now and then fits in nicely too.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

My aim is to help the client move forward, but we do this together! It is not a ‘one-way street’. Clients can expect me to want to help them move forward, but I expect my (sports) clients to be willing to take that extra step towards recovery and good health.
