Healthcare codes
Your invoice contains healthcare codes. Health insurers use these healthcare codes to process and reimburse treatments and medical aids in the same way on every invoice.
As a result, the description on your invoice may differ from the name you were given during your treatment. This is normal.
Podiatry care codes
The following codes may appear on your invoice for podiatry treatment:
- 9100 – examination, consultation or treatment by a podiatrist
- 9101 – podiatric insoles
- 9102 – orthotics, podiatrist
- 9103 – repair or correction: podiatrist
- 9104 – instrumental (wound) treatment
Invoice processing
For most health insurers, your invoice is processed via Infomedics and your health insurer.
Depending on your situation, the following applies:
- Will your treatment be fully reimbursed? If so, you will not receive an invoice;
- Is your treatment partially reimbursed? If so, you will only receive an invoice for the part that you pay yourself;
- Do you not have supplementary insurance? In that case, you will receive an invoice for the full cost of your treatment.
For some health insurers, including DSW, the process works differently. In that case, you will receive an invoice for the full cost of your treatment and can submit the invoice to your health insurer yourself.
Podiatry satisfaction guarantee
We have every confidence in the expert judgement of our podiatrists. That is why we are confident enough to offer a satisfaction guarantee on our podiatric insoles.
If, contrary to expectations, the orthopaedic insoles have not delivered the previously discussed and desired result, we will refund the cost of the orthopaedic insoles.
- This ‘no cure, no pay’ arrangement applies only to the cost of the podiatric insoles. The costs of the examination and treatment remain applicable;
- The scheme applies from the first check-up appointment until 6 months after the delivery of your podiatric insoles.
