Acquisition of Podotherapie Segerink by Rondom Podotherapeuten

Healthcare providers are facing an ever-increasing burden of legislation and regulations, whilst demand for care is growing at the same time. By pooling our strengths and expertise, we continue to innovate and are able to adapt as circumstances change. This pooling of strengths is also being realised through the acquisition of Podotherapie Segerink with effect from 1 July, whereby, together with the current professional team, we will continue to expand the provision of podiatry care in the Netherlands on a sound footing.

Helping as many people as possible to walk well for as long as possible – that is what the team at Rondom Podotherapeuten is all about. We achieve this by working together, both within the team and beyond. This pooling of strengths is also being realised through the takeover of Podotherapie Segerink on 1 July, whereby, together with the current professional team, we will continue to expand the scope of podotherapy care in the Netherlands on a sound footing.

Reason for the acquisition

Mariëlle Segerink, the owner of Podotherapie Segerink, has spent 25 years passionately building up this practice and this team, whilst also working actively as a podiatrist herself. Such a milestone is a fitting moment to make way for a new generation of healthcare professionals. Mariëlle: “For us, it is important that our patients receive the most appropriate care. That is why we have chosen to continue as Rondom Podotherapeuten. At Rondom, just as with us, the patient is at the heart of everything we do. Rondom also, just like us, places great emphasis on the team and on collaborating with other healthcare providers.”

What will change for patients at Podotherapie Segerink?

For patients of Podotherapie Segerink, nothing will change apart from the name of the practice. Existing appointments will remain as agreed. The practice locations will also remain the same. All the familiar podiatrists and assistants will continue to work at Rondom Podotherapeuten.
