More about me
What is your role and what gives you energy in your work?
As a project manager, I get a real buzz from those moments when a project really starts to take off. There’s often a tipping point where everything comes together: ideas take shape, people connect, and the results become visible. That moment when you see all the separate parts come together as a whole – that’s the best bit.
What is your favourite quote, motto or tip to help people get on better in life?
‘You don’t have to sort everything out at once; things often work out if you don’t give up.’
How can you tell from your work that it really suits you?
This role suits me because it has evolved alongside me during my years at Rondom. My role was, of course, clearly defined, but at regular intervals we would assess whether it still aligned with the organisation’s needs and with my own development. This creates a dynamic between recognising quality in someone and utilising their qualities. I find that wonderful: when an organisation grows and employees are allowed to grow alongside it, you bring out the best in both.
What do you do outside of work that people might not expect of you?
I don’t think many people realise that I get a lot of energy from Bodycombat and boxing. And that I studied history and am still very interested in it.
